This Goodwill location offers a wide and ever-changing selection of clothing for men, women and kids, along with household items and accessories. All items are offered at very affordable prices, so customers not only get a great deal, but they also can help recycle useful items that otherwise would end up taking up space in a landfill. This location was opened in the hopes of taking full advantage of the donation possibilities from the Avon Lake and Avon communities, as well as to provide employment opportunities for those with disabilities and other barriers to finding jobs. Donations are accepted daily.
Good Neighbor Thrift Shop in Avon Lake is a non-profit mission program of the Avon Lake United Church of Christ. It is largely staffed by volunteers and offers affordable, quality resale merchandise to shoppers. It also provides an arena for Christian giving, both for volunteers and donors. The Thrift Shop welcomes volunteers and also gratefully accepts gently used clothing, household items and small furniture.
