Lambs Farm was established in 1965 by Bob Terese and Corinne Owen. The co-founders believed that people with special needs "deserved to lead meaningful and productive lives." They opened a business to help them put their beliefs into practice.
The farm is more than a gathering place for community members. It also empowers more than 250 people with special needs to live life to the fullest. Lambs Farm features a petting zoo, mini-golf, mini-trade ride, Old World carousel, restaurant, bakery and thrift shop. The farm also provides full-service catering for meeting, events and banquets.
Plato's Closet buys gently used brand name clothing & accessories for teens and young adults. Payment is received on the spot for all items accepted. No appointment is needed, but clothing must be in good condition and current style. Clothing with stains, fading, holes, missing buttons or broken zippers will not be accepted.
ReNew Family Consignment helps members of the community make and save money through consignment sales. ReNew carries new and lightly used furniture and home decor, women's accessories, sporting goods and equipment and children's specialty clothing.
ReNew also provides opportunities for local organizations to raise funds with consignment drives.
