Mayflower Community Congregational UCC is a vibrant congregation in the Tangletown neighborhood of Southwest Minneapolis. It offers a variety of ways to worship including art, music and community service. The United Church of Christ-affiliated church welcomes all, regardless of sexual orientation or faith background. Members are intimately involved in the surrounding community and are dedicated to local and international issues of peace and justice.
The Congregational Church of Excelsior has a rich history dating back to 1852. In operation for more than 150 years, the church's congregation originally met in stores and homes until they built their first place of worship in 1871. Today, the church boasts hundreds of members and more than 15 ministries that do good works in the community.
