Unlike most grocery stores, Trader Joe's offers a pleasant experience thanks to extras such as the Eat At Joe's sample station and the Karat Cake. Yum! Not bad for less than six bucks a pop. Trader Joe's is able to keep its prices competitive thanks to its relationship with local and national producers who package their product specifically for Joe's.
This grocery store is a part of a national chain of stores located in various cities, including California, Oregon and Georgia. This chain began as a series of convenience stores, called Pronto Markets in the 1950s. It took its island theme in 1967 when the owner renovated all of the original locations and changed the name to Trader Joe's. The Millburn location of Trader Joe's officially opened on Nov. 6, 2009.
