The lone independent bookstore remaining in Ridgewood, Bookends has been a town mainstay since the mid '80s. The bookstore features more than 100 author events annually, usually between two and three per week, and regularly welcomes sports stars, politicians and local authors to the store. Recently, Bookends moved across the street to 211 East Ridgewood Avenue.
