The Lilburn Cooperative Ministry, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, serves Lilburn, Mountain Park, Stone Mountain and parts of Tucker with food, clothing and emergency financial assistance to those in need. Founded in 1994, the Lilburn Coop, as it is called by its supporters, also provides school supplies, budget planning, employment services and follow-up support. It partners with dozens of local churches on various efforts throughout the year. Its Lily's Cloak thrift store offers low-cost clothing and other goods, with the revenue used to support the ministry. Monetary, food and clothing donations are accepted. Volunteers are welcome to work in the thrift store and to sort and collect donations. Donations of clothes and food are accepted in the rear of the building.
St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Store is located on Lawrenceville Highway in Lilburn, directly across the street from the Shell Gas Station. The store is complete with great prices on shoes, books, clothing, furniture and houseware. Vouchers are honored at this location.
