Bethel Seminary is an evangelical seminary offering certificate programs, and master s and doctorate degrees. It offers various certificate programs in Biblical studies, lay ministry and theological studies. It offers special student services and facilities that include tutorial assistance, on-campus health service, personal counseling for individuals and families, a child development center, and career counseling, including advising and testing. Bethel Seminary is approved by the Association of Theological Schools and the Commission on Institutions of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The seminary was founded in 1871 and is located in San Diego and St. Paul, Minn. It is operated by the Bethel University, a ministry of the churches of the Baptist General Conference.
