The roots of the Tennis Corporation of America, also known as TCA, were planted more than 30 years ago when TCA built Mid-Town Tennis Club. In 1969, this facility was one of the world s largest indoor tennis clubs. According to Tennis Magazine, it is still the benchmark against which all tennis clubs should be measured. TCA owns or operates more than 40 clubs throughout the United States. The company employs more than 2,200 people and designs and manages corporate headquarters fitness centers for many top companies including McDonald s, General Motors and Kraft Foods. It manages several high-level hospital-based fitness centers for organizations such as Henry Ford Health System and ProMedica Health System. TCA consults for hotel and entertainment industry leaders including Hyatt, Hilton and the Walt Disney Company. It also performs marketing analysis and has acted as a consultant for colleges including Harvard and Duke Universities.
