Ideal Schools High School first opened its door in 2008, providing Loudoun County with its first co-ed independent high school. With a focus on learning in smaller groups, the school considers itself an appropriate alternative for children who were home-schooled prior to attending high school. Classes have no more than 12 students and average about five.
Deep Sran, PhD, attorney and educator, founded the school after more than a decade of researching ways to educate children.
