Pulaski Electric System, also known as PES, is one of the Tennessees oldest municipal electric cooperatives. Established in 1891, it serves more than 15,000 customers in the city of Pulaski, as well as the communities of Ardmore, Elkton, Goodspring, Lynnville, Minor Hill and Prospect in Tennessee. The cooperative also maintains over 1,200 miles of electric line throughout Giles County in Tennessee. It offers various programs, such as security light, marathon water heater, Warm Neighbor Fund aid to construction loans, automatic withdrawal and low-growing tree replacement. The Pulaski Electric System is a member of the Tennessee Valley Authority, American Public Power Association, Tennessee Valley Public Power Association, and Tennessee Municipal Electric Power Association. It operates PES Energize, which has a fiber-optic network to provide high-speed data, television and telephone service for residential and commercial clients.
