Stamford Hospital is a nonprofit, community teaching hospital that has been serving the residents of the Stamford and surrounding communities for more than 100 years. It has over 305 inpatient beds in medicine, surgery, gynecology, psychiatry, and medical and surgical critical care units. The hospital maintains an educational partnership with the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons for its teaching programs in internal medicine, family practice, obstetrics, gynecology and surgery. Stamford Hospital administers several residency programs. The hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission. It operates the Tully Health Center, which offers outpatient surgery, wound care and cardiac rehabilitation solutions. Stamford Hospital provides nursing, nutrition counseling, nephrology and neurology services.
