Congregation Or Atid is a conservative egalitarian synagogue that focuses on community involvement and education. Rabbi Sally Finestone was the congregation's first rabbi and continues in that role today.
Congregation Ot Atid holds open houses throughout the year for individuals and families interested in becoming a part of the congregation. In addition, all holiday services and Shabbat morning services are open to guests.
Temple Shir Tikva, first known as the Jewish Congregation of Wayland, has served the Jewish community in Wayland and surrounding areas since the 1970s. With a focus on education and the development of community, Temple Shir Tikva has a membership of more than 600 families comprised of more than 1,000 adults. Temple Shir Tikva inherited the Torah scroll from Jicin, Czechoslovakia. The Holocaust decimated the congregation and community there, but the scroll survived and is now a part of Temple Shir Tikva's heritage.
