Hillel is the home of Jewish life at the University of Georgia. It not only runs religious programing, but also explores the roles of Jewish culture, community and plurality. Religious events include Shabbat dinner and services, holiday services and discussions. Hillel is proud to have such a strong charity and social justice presence on UGA's campus. It hosts an annual holiday party for underprivileged youth, a dorm "move-out drive", alternative spring break and more. Although it has a strong working relationship with the UGA administration, it is not funded by the university. Jews and non-Jews alike are urged to come to Hillel and explore its diverse programming and fun events. Its brick house on South Milledge is welcoming with many areas to hang out.
