It promotes the development of several urban and suburban policies. The organization provides a variety of products and services, including an extensive U.S. mayor archive and online publications list. The United States Conference of Mayors offers Brownfield, Clean Air, Community Tree, Recycling at Work and City Livability programs. In addition, the organization provides health and human services. It monitors the international issues and trends of U.S. mayors and local governments. The United States Conference of Mayors maintains relationships with the United Nations, Mayors for Peace and Hiroshima Mayor Tadatoshi Akiba. Its affiliates include the Municipal Waste Management Association, Workforce Development Council, The Allied Membership Program and Republican Mayors and Local Officials.
