Steve's Place has been a locally owned restaurant and catering business since 1969. This location in Rocky Hill has an array of Italian food and specializes in grinder sandwiches, pasta dishes, burgers and salads. All meat is sliced to order, and all salads are made fresh daily.
Wood-n-Tap, which is conveniently located off of I-91, is a restaurant specializing in American cuisine. It is one of five Wood-n-Taps in the state. Call-ahead seating is available for groups consisting of less than eight people, and reservations are accepted for parties of eight or more. Delivery is available for orders totaling more than $100.
To-Go platters can be ordered for take-out. Wood-n-Tap is known for its "Tappy Hour," which is a $3 featured draft starting at 4pm, with five appetizers for $6 each until 7pm. The motto of the restaurant is "Come as you are," meaning casual attire is welcomed.
