The Maryland State Government Parole and Probation office is located within the Maryland District Court House. The courthouse is situated on the UMBC campus. The Parole and Probation office works with parole and probation offenders to give guidance and supervision. This office works with offenders to enable a recovery that keeps them away from re-entering the criminal justice system.
The armory now serves as a recruiting office for the Maryland Army National Guard. The 200th military police battalion of the Maryland Army National Guard is also based here.
