California Highway Patrol, established in 1929, is a state police agency with statewide jurisdiction that works towards the prevention of loss of life, injuries and property damage. California Highway Patrol supports several commercial industry education, crime prevention and drug recognition evaluator programs. It maintains a location in Placerville, Calif.
