The Governor s Office of Elderly Affairs serves as a focal point for senior citizens in Louisiana and administers a range of home- and community-based services and programs through a network of more than 35 37 area agencies on aging. The agency works to promote the maximum possible degree of personal freedom, dignity and self-determination.
