The Glass Bowl is a stadium located in Toledo, Ohio on the campus of the University of Toledo. The Glass Bowl currently houses the NCAA team the Toledo Rockets. The stadium opened as University Stadium on September 21, 1937 with the construction taking just over one year at a cost of just over $313,000, $5 million in present day dollars. The latest renovation was in 1990, which added over 8,000 seats.
The Toledo Rockets are members of the Mid-American Conference of the within National Collegiate Athletic Association. They are known by their team colors consisting of blue and gold. Their mascot is Rocky the Rocket. Past players include Lance Moore, Andrew Hawkins and Danny Noble.
The stadium currently holds 26,248 fans. There are 40 luxury suites and over 400 seats at the club level. Currently, it is the 115th largest stadium in the NCAA. The record fan attendance of 36,852 occurred in 2001 against Navy. In terms of parking there is on-campus parking and satellite parking lots both containing general and reserved spots.
Season tickets are available with prices starting around $170. Individual tickets start at about $25 depending on the game. Tickets are available through the team website and ticket exchanges.
