The system s libraries house study materials in the areas of agriculture, petroleum engineering, plant pathology, natural history, and sugar culture and technology. LSU Libraries libraries also feature books on various aspects of aquaculture, including crawfish, wetlands research and marine biology. Its Hill Memorial Library provides research materials in humanities, social sciences and fine arts. The system s libraries operate circulation, interlibrary loan and special collections departments. LSU Libraries is a part of the Association of Research Libraries, Association of Southeastern Research Libraries and Louisiana Academic Library Information Network Consortium.
