The Meadows Swim & Tennis Club has been in existence since 1966. In addition to its two outstanding swimming pools, this private club offers volleyball, tennis and basketball courts. The club also has men's and women's locker rooms, a clubhouse and picnic areas. Swimming lessons are available too.
Excel Driving School is a certified driver instruction facility. It opened in 2000 and offers classes for first-time drivers, adults and senior citizens. The school also specializes in teaching stick-shift driving. Excel is west of downtown Wheaton, and tucked away behind Wheaton city buildings.
The Deer Creek Courts is an athletic facility in Highland Park. The grounds feature six indoor tennis courts. The company's goal is to provide a fun and affordable tennis experience to Highland Park residents and their families. Both group and one-on-one lessons are taught, and individuals and leagues compete daily.
Lil' Kickers provides soccer fields, soccer classes and leagues for children ages 18 months to 9 years. The Riverwalk is the place to be on a summer's night: Couples strolling, little tykes in strollers, runners running and dogs with happy tails wagging. Visitors cannot pass up a scenic tour along the Riverwalk, which is in walking distance to downtown shops. Along the Riverwalk there are places to sit down and relax. Concerts at the Millenium Carillon draw people to Rotary Park and passersby. During the summer visitors can stop and watch the swimmers at Centennial Beach. In winter, the path leads the way to sledding at Rotary Hill. And couples are often spotted having engagment photos taken in many of the path's scenic locations.
Tip Top Training & Rehab is a full service athletic training and rehabilitation company serving Northbrook and the surrounding areas. Led by owner and trainer Mindee Epstein, it offers a range of programs, including group and individual training. The Oak Lawn Park District's Pavilion is a full-scale recreational center with indoor and outdoor facilities where residents of all ages can go to get fit and play. The 28,000-square-foor sports arena offers a workout and fitness center with all of the latest Cybex equipment like stair-steppers, exercise bikes, free weights and treadmills. An .08 mile indoor running/walking track is available free to residents year-round, as well as all types of adult and youth sports leagues, an open gym and sports training programs. The Pavilion also offers a babysitting room so parents can enjoy worry-free workouts and participate in programs.

Equipped with 10 air-conditioned courts and 17 extensively trained instructors, it offers a variety of classes for all levels through its Herrmann Tennis Academy. Named after the Rev. Msgr. William J. Plunkett, a priest at Immaculate Conception Parish in Elmhurst, Plunkett Park is a prime spot for baseball games under the lights. Immaculate Conception High School used the land for its athletic field prior to selling the property to the Park District in 1971. The school still hosts home games here. At the south end of Plunkett Park is Courts Plus, a center for health, sports and fitness run by the Elmhurst Park District. Courts Plus includes a lap pool, fitness center, racquet sports, a climbing wall and lots of group exercise classes.
