Brookwood Stables is a 20-acre farm in Lucketts that offers 24-hour horse care and boarding along with lessons. Brookwood Stables has been in operation since 2005. The facilities include an arena with jumps, a pen, a hot and cold wash area, matted stalls and two barns. There are three pastures, each including a run-in shed. Private and group lessons are available for all skill levels and ages. The owners live on the farm and employ a full-time manager and trainer.
Tiger Den Martial Arts offers before and after-school care instruction in Tae Kwon Do, including transportation to and from school and extended hours of care. Tae Kwon Do instruction is also available for customers five years of age to adults in the evenings or weekends. All levels of progress are taught, and private instruction appointments are available. Those interested may also rent space at Tiger Den for private parties such as weekend birthday celebrations. Raspberry Falls Golf and Hunt Club is located minutes from historic Leesburg, about 1 mi off Rte. 15 North. The drive to the Clubhouse is scenic, lined with executive homes and Catoctin mountains in the background. Turning into the driveway is like a step back in time as guests are faced with a horse drawn wagon and a rising staircase to a traditional plantation-style structure.
It is an upscale, 18-hole course and club with lots of features for members and non-members. In addition to golfing and hunting, reserve the clubhouse for a wedding or private event.
Inside the Clubhouse, guests can enjoy dining at the Hunter's Grille for a quick bite or a full lunch or dinner after a full round. The Pro Shop is also open on-location, stocked with clubs, bags, golf accessories, shoes, shirts and hats.
Membership is available on a daily basis and the Junior Golf Camp is provided to get the youngsters involved.
Transition Triathlon is a shop specializing in merchandise for the triathlon athlete. Products offered include clothing, gear, equipment and nutritional items. Wet suits can be rented here. The Loudoun School of Ballet has lots to offer the community as this company has more than 20 years of experience. Ballet is the most popular dance style, however lyrical, jazz, hip hop, modern and tap are also popular styles. The office manager and staff are very courteous and encourage the parents to be involved and supportive in the student's dance education. The school is very spacious inside, and what sets this school apart from other schools, is the technique that the students receive.
The American Academy of Equestrian Sciences, off Rte. 15 near Leesburg, offers a variety of training classes for horse enthusiasts. For kids ages 4 to 18 the Academy offers riding lessons, an afterschool program, camps, birthday parties and much more.
For adults, it offers lessons, camps and retreats as well. It has 40 stalls for boarding and training horses and trails that wind throughout the property. The Academy sell horses and also a variety of merchandise with the academy logo. It also houses dogs saved from local animal shelters and offer them for adoption. The goal of the Academy is to create one of the premier equestrian education programs in the country.
Loudoun Therapeutic Riding Foundation, founded in 1974, is housed at Morven Park. The park has 1,000 acres of beautiful green trees and rolling hills. Loudoun Therapeutic Riding Foundation (LTRF) serves persons with physical, psychological, or cognitive disabilities and has over 120 volunteers.
Lessons are available on an individual basis or with a group. LTRF has an informative website and friendly staff which are available to share information about the services available through the organization.
Village Lanes Bowling Center is a bowling alley located off Catoctin Circle in Leesburg. It has a snack bar with sandwiches, subs, pizza and sides along with draft beer for sale. The pro shop sells bowling equipment from many major brands and also offers ball drilling, plug work, resurfacing, engraving and more. A variety of leagues play throughout the week and multiple specials for parties or large groups are available. "Rock and Glow" bowling occurs every Friday and Saturday night starting at 10 pm.
Apex Gymnastics has been teaching gymnastics fundamentals to children 18 months - 18 years since 1997. It has competitive and recreational teams, as well as host birthday parties, open gym, parent's night out, summer camps and school vacation camps. The owners, Marty Newsom and Melanie Cuozzo, are former college gymnasts that aim to teach students the discipline of the sport along with being good citizens and valuable life lessons.

Fun 'n Fit is a highly specialized shop for fitness and training wear. It offers a specialty in very high-end retro footwear. The doors opened in 2010. It is located directly across from Talley-ho Theatre, Leesburg Parking Lot, La Lou Bistro, one block from the Courthouse in historic downtown Leesburg. Fun 'n Fit takes special orders, too.
Evergreen Recreation Center is part of the Evergreen Meadows community in Leesburg. The recreation center houses an outdoor pool, tennis courts and tot lot and playground. The pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day and is a junior olympic size at 25 meters. There is a wading pool for small children and locker rooms with showers. There are two tennis courts on the grounds available for residents and guests.
