Llanerch is an upscale private country club that requires membership for all services. The club has been at this location 1919. There is a regulation size 18 hole golf course as well as numerous tennis courts, a pool, a restaurant and a bar. There are special events on occasion and the Llanerch Country Club has hosted PGA championships in the past.
For nearly 50 years, Bill McDonough's Sport Camps' Blue Chip Basketball have been hosting women's basketball tournaments and shootouts. College coaches have long utilized Blue Chip Basketball events as part of their recruiting trail. Female high-school-aged players are the participants of Blue Chip Basketball events.
