Gilbert Indoor Range offers target practice, education and fun. It's the only indoor range in Montgomery County with 25 handgun and rifle lanes that are 75 feet long. It's also one of the biggest, with 22,000 square feet. Gun rentals, training courses and storage facilities are available. The range is a popular training facility for law enforcement and security professionals. There are monthly events such as Bowling Pin Shoots and Cowboy Action night. Gilbert also has shooting courses for beginners and experts. National Rifle Association courses for basic pistol use, personal protection, machine gun certification and self-defense training are available. Private training for specific purposes can be arranged. Tourist packages are offered to give members an opportunity to shoot a selection of firearms ranging from a six shooter to a Thompson sub-machine gun. ESF Summer Camps offers summer sports camps at Georgetown Prep. The camps range from general activities, such as mini camp for three- year-old boys and girls, day camp with a variety of activities and senior camp for older children interested in true life adventures.
