Oceanside CrossFit has been serving the Oceanside community for 4 years. CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for athletes, police officers, and military personnel. Hence, a number of the trainers here are ex- or current military and police. They offer a one-on-one introductory session to learn about the program and decide which CrossFit process will be right for you and your goals. They incorporate weights, cardio, martial arts and much more.
Kosty's Kung Fu San Soo is a large martial arts studio, located along South Coast Highway. The studio is open and bright, with big windows letting in plenty of light. The floor is padded for safety and classes are available for all ages and levels.
It is owned and operated by George Kosty, and follows a series of strikes, kicks and defensive techniques used to disable an opponent and stop a fight before it progresses. Classes are available five days per week.

The Surf Bowl is a fun, large bowling alley located along South Coast Highway. The Oceanside fun zone features glow in the dark bowling, as well as youth and adult bowling leagues. It also has laser tag inside and plenty of pool tables and arcade games, too. The interior is bright and open, with room shooting off the main bowling alley containing other fun activities. Private party rooms are available, as are concessions such as nachos and hot dogs. There is also a bar on site with a large selection of beers on tap. Shoes are available for rent and bumper lanes can be provided, too. Credit cards are accepted and parking is free in the attached lot.
Located at the harbor in Oceanside, Helgren's Sportfishing is based out of a large blue building only steps from the water - though the real excitement begins once the boat leaves the dock. The sportfishing company offers guests a chance to fish for large, salt water fish. With rod and reel rental available, as well as sportfishing licenses, the business provides customers with everything they need to get started, including charter boats.
