With more than 11,000 members, the Westfield Area Y has been operational since 1923. Its facilities feature a gymnasium, swimming pools, racquetball courts, steam rooms and fitness centers for men and women. The organization also has a dance and aerobic studio and meeting rooms. The Westfield Area Y operates the Cranford Community Center. In addition, it organizes camps and sports activities. The organization has over 120 cardiovascular and strength training equipment.
