Woodside United Methodist Church has been a cornerstone of the Silver Spring Community since 1875. The church celebrates diversity -- more than 20 countries are represented in the congregation. Traditional Sunday events include 9:30am Sunday School, 11am Services (a children's version takes place at the same time at the Sunday school). Woodside has a robust music program, family events on major holidays (Easter and Christmas) and is open to hosting private evens from wedding to meetings. Its ministries and mission include the Young Disciples United Methodist Fellowship and Arleeta's Pantry.
