Park Lawn School and Activity Center is operated by Park Lawn, a nonprofit organization that offers a variety of programs and services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Operational since 1955, the center s programs promote independence, choice and access to mainstream living. It offers a variety of support services, such as individual and group counseling, transportation, physical, speech, and occupational therapy, social services, medical counseling, psychological testing and art therapy. Park Lawn additionally offers programs that provide individuals with the opportunity to increase their vocational proficiency, to earn a wage and benefits and to contribute to their community. It additionally offers a variety of vocational programs, such as adult developmental training, workshop services, and supported and community employment services.
