Keren is a licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) who provides collaborative and solution-focused therapy in pregnancy and through the first year postpartum. Keren draws from attachment theory; cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT); interpersonal therapy; and mindfulness; to help alleviate suffering from the symptoms of depression; anxiety; and other perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. She believes a combination of the above with a good dose of humor and compassion is an important part of providing support around the transition to parenthood. Keren is a Seattle native who obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Washington in 2008; and enjoys making music; crafting; reading; and playing in nature with her family.
