ActionAIDS, founded in 1986, is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit organization providing a range of direct services to people suffering from HIV and AIDS. ActionAIDS has a staff of more than 80 full-time and over 10 part-time employees, as well as more than 400 active volunteers. The organization serves more than 3,500 individuals and over 150 families with HIV each year. It educates individuals through group presentations, and provides outreach programs in streets, shelters, recovery houses, prisons and other places where people at risk for HIV meet. ActionAIDS also answers more than 6,000 inquiries for information and referral every year. The organization s case managers provide emergency financial assistance, in-home support services, and 24-hour, seven-days a week emergency coverage. ActionAIDS offers a complimentary ticket program for people living with HIV and AIDS and their families.

Founded in 1984, SEAMAAC, also known as the Southeast Asian Mutual Assistance Association Coalition is a refugee and immigrant-operated organization that serves various immigrants and families. It offers services that include employment and job assistance, breast cancer awareness programs housing assistance and refugee resettlement, and prenatal and postnatal counseling.
