Bais Ezra, established in 1978 and located in Brooklyn, N.Y., is one of the facilities of Ohel Childrens Home & Family Services, which serves children and adults facing personal challenges. Bais Ezra focuses on meeting the needs of people with developmental disabilities and their families in the Jewish community. The organization serves more than 1,000 individuals living in homes with their families and in residential settings. It also serves people of all ages with mental retardation, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, autism and neurological impairments. Bais Ezra provides a variety of services, including residential services, day programming, service coordination, residential habilitation, and respite care and rehabilitation services.
