Established in 1959, the Foothills Park & Recreation District offers a variety of entertainment opportunities for people of all ages. Its facilities include sports arenas, parks, athletic complexes and golf courses. The district offers space for organizing various events, such as weddings, birthdays, business meetings, church functions, family reunions, holiday events, picnics, rehearsal dinners and seminars. It manages more than 70 park sites and over 14 conservation areas. The district organizes camps that include a variety of sports activities, such as volleyball, basketball, soccer, baseball and softball. It conducts dance, music and drama classes for teenagers and youths. The district offers personal training programs and nutritional counseling services.
