Established in 1981 as Munn Steel Fabricators, Munn Enterprises became incorporated in 1986. Company patriarch Everette Munn had been involved in outdoor advertising for 27 years when he began the company with his two sons, Harold and Howard. Munn began with only two employees, basic fabrication equipment, one truck, and one trailer. It has evolved into a company that operates a 35, 000 square foot plant that includes sales, art, welding, sheet metal, plastic, painting, assembly, and shipping departments which are fully equipped with knowledgeable personnel and the most modern equipment. Munn Enterprises employs an average of 75 employees that are dedicated to quality.Munn Enterprises erected the first mono-pole billboard and soon grew to manufacturing electric signs. The company manufactures with the advanced techniques and materials to supply their customers with the best products for their money. Every product is inspected for quality, workmanship, and work ability before leaving the plant. Munn provides their customers with the most innovated designs in the sign industry.Outside the plant, Munn Enterprises operates with 10 install crews, 5 service crews, 2 canopy install crews, and several project managers. These crews are second to none. The company covers the entire state of Mississippi and cities in the neighboring states of Alabama, Louisiana, Florida, and Tennessee. Just one accomplishment of the employees Munn Enterprises was the completion of 80 Union Planters Bank locations in 90 days. The install crews are fully equipped to install any signage the company manufactures from vinyl letters to 150 foot high rises. Munns installation equipment includes Auger trucks, back hoes, dump trucks, trailers, and 50-150 foot cranes. Munn has bonding capabilities up to 5 million dollars.
