The Oceanside Plaza Shopping Center is located at one of the town’s busiest intersections, making it a convenient spot to do business. There is a dry cleaner here, and a laundromat that has new appliances. There are also outposts of the popular national chains, such as KFC and Pep Boys Auto.
The plaza is filled with shops and business that cater to the large Spanish-speaking community living in the area, such as the Viva Market, a grocery store filled with imported goods from south of the border, and La Ilusion Craft, a clothing store that has formal attire for special events such as a young woman’s quinceañera. There’s also Mission Tianquis, an indoor shopping bazaar that’s filled with restaurant vendors, jewelry booths and beauty stalls.
