Established in 1974, Beta Shim Co., which was originally known as Blaisdell East, is a provider of computer-numerical control (CNC) manufacturing services to industrial clients in the state of Connecticut. Based in Shelton, Conn., the company also offers stamping, turning and milling. Its additional capabilities include lathes/turning (CNC or conventional), laminated sheets/shims, military stainless insoles, logistics and military packaging. Holding an ISO/AS9100 certification for all their processes and functions, Beta Shim Co. has served Sikorsky Aircraft, Lockheed Martin, Pratt & Whitney, Hamilton Sundstrand, Northrop Grumman, Electric Boat, BMW and many more government contracts.
