Merkle Response Services provides response processing of an annual volume in excess of 50 million transactions. Merkle uses Web-based reporting capabilities that allow real-time access to mail counts and deposit information 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The company operates at three processing sites, enabling workload leveling and system redundancy between the different locations. It offers cashiering and lockbox services including mail sorting as specified by the client, check encoding, electronic credit card processing and delivery of bank deposits and daily activity reports. In addition to standard manual key entry, Merkle uses a scan and image transport system for the data entry process. Services include image or key entry of response information, finder file processing, special flag and suppression processing, high speed electronic file transfer, separate online source code analysis system, fulfillment and custom programming for processing survey polls.
