Amherst High School operates under Amherst Regional Public Schools. It offers classes for more than 1,300 students every year in grades nine through 12. The school offers classes in various subjects, including music and performing arts, business education, world languages, mathematics, family and consumer science, English language learners programs and computer education. The school also offers a range of extracurricular activities, such as anime and art clubs, Asian club, best buddies, chemistry club, dance theater ensemble, environmental action club, French, Japanese and Korean clubs, math team and National Honor Society. Amherst Regional Public Schools also operates other schools, including Fort River School, Crocker Farm School, Wildwood School and Pelham School. The high school is located in Amherst, Mass.
