Greater Tosa Interfaith is non-profit, Christian community-based service for senior citizens. It offes services in providing senior citizens with capabilities in living independently at home. It serves clients regardless of their religious affiliation. This branch is helmed by Diane Euting.
Located in the rear of Bay Shore Lutheran church. Interfaith is a program designed to assist older adults who don't have the support system of family, friends or neighbors otherwise. Here they are able to provide transportation services, escort members to docotor appointments, assist in grocery shopping, advocacy and more. Since its beginning in 1973, they have become a countywide Neighborhood Outreach Program with more than 14 offices.
The Northwest Interfaith center, attached to St. Margaret Mary Church on 92nd Street, offers community programs ranging from employment services and older adult programs to neighborhood outreach and more. The center is always looking for assistance with programs and for people to spread the word about the center to the community.
Hawthorne Terrace is one of the premier independent senior living facilities in the Wauwatosa community. Hawthorne Terrace offers a 100-unit senior living facility that includes a hair salon, bank, fitness center, grocery store, library and whirlpool. Hawthorne Terrace does not offer any endowment fees or entrance fees and the entrance age limit is 55 years old.
