Elder Advise Network has been serving the senior citizens of the North Hills since 1998. It offers assistance in finding retirement homes and assistance for daily living for the elderly. It can set up referrals for touring and moving into assisted living communitie as well as refer organizations that can help the elderly in their daily activities.
Located in the basement of the Swissvale Library, the senior center offers weekly exercise programs, bingo games, parties for members, arts-and-crafts activities and numerous social opportunities for older residents. Lunch is served each day at 11:45am for a $1.50 donation; the center also has a Meals on Wheels program.
