RAVE Nanomachining, founded in 2001 and based in Delray Beach, Fla., offers a range of services to clients. The company has a more than 13,000-square-foot facility and its operations include system and nanobit manufacturing; research and development, hardware and software engineering; finance, human resources and procurement and has applications and customer demonstration labs. The company s customer demonstration center includes a system with a complement of metrology instrumentation for quality assurance verification. A separate system is used for studies in the areas of process and applications development. The systems are manufactured in its Class 1000 clean room. All systems integration, testing, final testing and packaging occur in the clean room. Certain components of Nanobit manufacturing are also performed in the manufacturing Cleanroom.
