Victor Schaff, recognizing the need for low water use plants, founded S & S Seeds in 1975. He used his experience in the collection and use of drought tolerant plant seeds to become a primary wholesale supplier to landscape contractors, government agencies and seed distributors throughout the United States and abroad. What places S & S Seeds apart is its distinctive approach to service and fine quality seed. While pre-measured seed mixes are available, our professional staff is available to work with you to design seed mixes for each particular project site. We give careful consideration to site condition, soil type, climate, available moisture, and the desired visual effect. We have research and development trial fields for evaluation of new and old species. Our production fields and continued extensive collections of native plant seed allows us to offer seeds for more than 900 plant species, including wildflowers, native and reclamation grasses, trees, shrubs, and native plants. Our large diverse inventory enables us to ship product the same day it is ordered.
