This cozy and welcoming spot is a throwback to an earlier day. Owner Perry Tsipis is likely to greet you like a long-lost friend as soon as you enter the dimly-lit dining room. Downriver residents have been enjoying lunch and dinner at this spot, situated in the middle of Grosse Ile's business district, since 1985. The menu and portion size, too, are a reminder of another time. Hearty fare includes steak, seafood, lamb and the house specialty, Chicken Perdino. Be sure to try the spaghetti with spicy banana peppers. Every meal comes with soup or salad, a relish tray and fresh bread.
