U.S.S. Chowder Pot IV is a diner that provides seafood and hearty prime rib in two large dining rooms. In addition, it provides a 150-person lounge with a dance floor, nightly entertainment and a bar-side grill. Chowder Pot expanded in 1998 and 2001 to accommodate the increasing demand for large weddings and conferences. It is a privately owned company that is located in Hartford, Conn., where it employs nearly 150 people.
