The County School House is a privately owned day care center. It is open to children ranging from infants to age 12.
Bethel Hebrew Congregation welcomes the community to attend services and embrace Jewish learning, prayer and celebration. The church runs a full-time preschool to help teach the community. In addition, workshops, post-confirmation learning, inter-faith outreach and other education classes are offered.
Sully Station Children's Center is a full-service day-care and pre-school located in the Sully Station community. It offers programs for children beginning as infants and continuing up through elementary school. Annandale Co-Op Preschool is a parent-run cooperative school whose mission is to "educate children based on the philosophy of learning through play". The primary goal of Annandale Co-Op is to prepare students for elemenary school through various developmental programs in music, science, and other creative arts.

Montessori Country School has been educating students from the Herndon area since 1971. The school offers programs for children ages two-and-a-half to six, including young preschool, preschool and kindergarten classes. The school also offers mixed-age classes. All students must be potty trained before attending Montessori Country School.
