Montessori School of Mount Pleasant employs only educators with training in Resources of Infant Educatiors (RIE) or Montessori teaching techniques.

The Sunshine House provides care for children ages six weeks to 12 years old, with an aim toward quality, age appropriate care. The Sunshine House specializes in education programming, using The Creative Curriculum, to ensure that children are ready for school. Parents may pay the center's fees and download its forms online.
Christ Our King-Stella Maris School provides Catholic education for children in pre-K through eighth grades.
Christ Our King - Stella Maris School was founded in 1950 by Stella Maris Church in Sullivan's Island, South Carolina. Today, COK-SM is located in Mount Pleasant just off of Colemand Boulevard on the same property as Christ Our King Church, and is supported by three parishes: Christ Our King Catholic Church; Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church; St. Benedict Catholic Church.
