The East Hills Moravian Church offers two Sunday worship services, a preschool for children ages 2 to 4, a large gym, study groups, choir programs, and a Sunday school.
The Malvern School provides private year-round early childhood education for children six weeks through eight years with full and half-day options available. It's staff is comprised of teachers degreed in early childhood education who allow children to develop and grow at their own pace in a secure and creative environment. The Malvern School offers indoor specialty areas, three-age appropriate playgrounds and a custom designed summer camp at each school. The school is committed to providing a program based on the highest standards of excellence with a curriculum designed to meet or exceed the standards established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the nation's largest non-profit early childhood organization.
The Fort Washington Play and Learn Center offers childcare, preschool and kindergarten programs for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. It is comprised of separate facilities for the preschool and infant toddler centers, which are on adjacent properties. The campuses feature indoor and outdoor play areas and classrooms. Play & Learn maintains nine centers throughout the area.
Since 1969, Childtowne Montessori has been serving the children and families of the Southampton community. Five mothers founded the school, three of whom still govern on the board of directors. Today, the school provides three preschool rooms, a kindergarten program and an after-care program for older elementary-school children. The school's focus is on "respect for children" and providing joy and self-confidence through the learning experience.
