Clayton High School offers a variety of academic and extracurricular options to students. It is a part of Clayton Municipal Schools, which additionally owns and operates Alvis Elementary School, Kiser Elementary School and Clayton Junior High School. It is a school system that educates students in kindergarten through grade 12. The district enrolls more than 500 students annually. Clayton Municipal Schools provide elective classes that include art, band, agriculture education, woodshop, technology, journalism, dance, drama and athletics.
