Chocowinity Primary School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is located in Chocowinity, N.C. The school provides educational instruction to more than 550 students from prekindergarten through grade four. It has a media center that has a collection of more than 12,000 books, videos, CDs and computer software and offers computer technology classes for staff development. The school has guidance counselors who work directly with the faculty, students and their parents to facilitate academic success and personal development of the students. It offers education in various subjects, including reading, writing, spelling and vocabulary, English, math, science, social studies, physical education and language arts. Chocowinity Primary School has a staff of more than 75 faculty members and is affiliated with the Beaufort County Schools.
