Quitman High School is a coeducational institution that provides coaching and training in a variety of athletic activities, such as baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, volleyball, powerlifting, and track and field. It has the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Educators of America, National Honor Society, a student council, chorus, band, and chess and beta clubs. In addition, Quitman High School maintains the SADD Club, which provides students with prevention and intervention tools to deal with the issues of underage drinking, drug use, impaired driving and other destructive decisions. The school operates the Clarke County Vocational and Technical Center, which provides opportunities to learn different skills in the areas of agriscience, allied health, business and computer technology, forestry, and vehicle and mobile equipment. Located in Quitman, Miss., Quitman High School teaches students in grades 9 through 12 and is a part of the Quitman School District.
