Kinderhaus, located in the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, follows the Montessori method, focusing on development of self—psychologically, socially, physically and mentally—while allowing the child to learn at his or her own pace and choose learning activities.
Formerly Kellogg High School, Roseville Area Middle School was built in 1963. It has an enrollment of 795 students in grades 7 and 8. Its academic departments include science, health, computer science, music and gifted and talented.

Among Relay For Life events, Tartan's is typically among the top fundraisers in the nation. The 257,500 square-foot school was built in 1971 at a cost of about $6 million, according to a history of the school.
